Game modes
The daily course is the heart of the game, and the tabs along the top of the menu hold everything else.
Daily course
One new course every day at 00:00 UTC, generated from the date, so everyone in the world plays the same map. Your best time of the day goes on the daily leaderboard. Past courses stay playable for practice and can be browsed in the daily course archive.
Weekly championship
One longer, harder course for the whole week, Monday to Sunday (UTC). It has its own leaderboard, and its points count double toward the season.
Seasons
A season is a calendar month. Every daily course and weekly championship in it awards points by rank: on a board with N finishers, place r earns 100 × (N − r + 1) / N points, rounded, and doubled for a weekly. Playing often matters as much as winning. The standings are on the Season screen and on the archive pages.
Endless
Liked the game? Keep playing. Endless gives you fresh maps one after another on a single clock, and every map you clear adds time to it. The maps get harder at first and then level off, so map five is never brutal, and a new run never repeats an old sequence. Its weekly leaderboard ranks players by maps cleared, then by total time.
Rooms
Play a set of courses with friends. Quick match puts you in an open public room; Create a room makes a private or public one with 1 to 10 maps, daily-style (open for a day) or weekly-style (open for a week), for up to 8 players. Send the six-letter code or the link, and the room keeps its own standings: more maps finished ranks higher, then the lower total time. Rooms can include maps made by players.
Events
Hosted championships with a set start and end, 1 to 20 maps and a prize. Anyone can enter. Maps stay hidden until the event starts, and points work like seasons. Events are announced in the game's menu and on Discord.
Training
The tutorial (three tiny maps), the special hooks lessons (sling, reel, zipline, boost pad and spring), and a training course that shows every piece of the game one thing at a time, with no clock and nothing counted.
Player maps
Build your own course in the map editor, clear it to set the author time, and upload it to the gallery for everyone. See the map editor guide and the player maps page.
Friends, chat and your look
Add friends from a leaderboard or with a friend code, see their times side by side, and chat in the global, room and friends channels (chat can be turned off in Settings). After your first run you can pick your character's colour and face from twelve colours and eight faces. All of it is free and purely cosmetic.
